This 11 Days Scenic Budget Safari in Kenya and Tanzania takes you to Masai Mara known for the Annual migration of the Wildebeest and Zebras from Serengeti in search of greener pastures. Further the Scenic Budget Safari takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park where you will visit the Rhino Sanctuary. The Scenic Budget Safari proceeds to Amboseli National Park also known as the land of Land Shakers due to its large herds of Elephants present there. You can also have a good scenic view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The Scenic Budget Safari proceeds to Lake Manyara then Serengeti and finally the safari ends with a visit to Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Pick up from hotel the hotel at 7-8am depending with the location of the Hotel, orientation and depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for lunch. On arrival proceed for a game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at the Camp- fixed flush toilets and hot showers.

Day 2: Masai Mara

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodile. Optional activities to visit the Masai village at an extra cost, Dinner and overnight at the camp fixed tents with flush toilets and hot showers.

Day 3: Masai Mara -Lake Nakuru

Early morning pre-Morning game drive. After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru National Park, lunch enroute, with scenic views of Mt. Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Dinner and overnight the budget hotel, self contain rooms.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Amboseli

After breakfast proceeds on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific bird-life including flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline. Drive to Amboseli national park. Dinner and overnight at the camp with Hot showers and flush toilets.

Day 5: Amboseli

A day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches return to overnight at the camp .

Day 6: Amboseli – Arusha

After breakfasts proceed for your final game drive in Amboseli National Park if weather permits you will see the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, latter depart Amboseli to Arusha through Namanga border for immigration formalities, board the shuttle bus to Arusha town arriving in the afternoon our manager will pick you from the Bus stop and drop you at the Hotel booked on bed and breakfast.

Day 7: Arusha – Lake Manyara
After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara with lunch enroute. You will proceed to Lake Manyara for a game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the campsite

Day 8: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
After Breakfast depart for Serengeti National Park which is famous for its huge herds of plains animals (especially gnu [wildebeests], gazelles, and zebras). Lunch will be at the Seronera Camp. You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
The Serengeti is wider and known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebra, moving from their breeding grounds on the north side to the southern part, crossing the Grumeti River, which is home to many crocodiles.

Day 9: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

On arrival, have the evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite Campsite.

Day 10: Ngorongoro – Arusha

After lunch, drive back to Arusha for a drop off at The Charity Hotel where you will spend your night there. Kindly note that the hotel is booked on Bed and Breakfast Basis.

This Family-Friendly Safari covers both Kenya and Tanzania. It can start from either the countries depending on where the clients is landing. The trip covers Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli in Kenya and Serengeti and Ngorongoro in the Tanzania part. Accommodation in Nairobi is not included in the cost but the Arusha hotel is included in the package whereby the client has to buy the dinner on own. Shuttle bus to and from Arusha is also included in the package price.
